Again, a design that evolved from an architectural competition.
Again, a complex construction challenge. And, again, a solution achieved together by Icon and SJB FKA Architects. The entire structure, cladding and services of this cantilevered ‘folly’ were manufactured off-site and then craned into position. The trick was achieving perfect integration of the pre-assembled building. Again, the RAIA recognised Icon’s efforts with a commercial architecture award, and the structural elements of the support pylons.
